Life is Grande at Grande Park
Master Planned Community is site of 2003 Cavalcade of
Homes
Send in the homes, the Cavalcade is coming! Plainfields
new premier community, Grande Park, will be the site for the
2003 Cavalcade of Homes, sponsored by the Northern Illinois Home
Builders Association (NIHBA).
The 884-acre Grande Park is a joint venture of Moser Enterprises,
Pasquinelli and Isenstein MPI, LLC. Larger than New
York Citys famed Central Park, Grande Park will include
more than 200 acres of open space, with an inviting 100-acre
park at its center. Residents can enjoy picnics, partake in
sports and entertainment, and exercise along seven miles of
biking/hiking trails. The first phase will also include two
additional parks.
Grande Parks Cavalcade neighborhood, Glenmure, will
feature up to 14 custom homes from a dozen luxury homebuilders.
The neighborhood of estate-sized lots features a 14-acre park
with a play area, parking and a 10-acre lake surrounded by
biking/hiking trails. Prices for Cavalcade homes will range
from the mid $300s to almost $600,000.
Were delighted that Grande Park will serve as
the site for the 2003 Cavalcade of Homes, said Art Zwemke,
chief executive officer of Moser Enterprises. Its
a popular event that gives consumers the opportunity to tour
beautiful homes, contemplate the possibilities and get inspired
to build their own dream home.
Grande Parks 17 planned neighborhoods and 2,036 homes
will include a broad range of single-family homes, townhomes,
duplexes, condominiums and apartments. Active adult neighborhoods
are also planned. Homes will range from 1,500 to over 4,000
square feet. This panorama of homes ensures that Grande Park
pricing will accommodate a variety of homebuyers.
Custom builders John and Len Strahanoski of Joliet-based Homes
By Strahanoski have built in Plainfield before, but they are
participating for the first time in the Cavalcade of Homes.
Their company will offer a two-story, traditional home situated
on a desirable corner lot. A brick and cultured stone front
will be complemented by cedar used to complete the exterior.
The home has five bedrooms, three and a half baths and a three-car
garage.
For the Cavalcade, we have chosen an open floor plan
with volume ceilings. A key highlight of our home is the large
and friendly kitchen. Theres plenty of room for entertaining
guests and preparing meals, and a convenient butlers
pantry will be situated between the dining room and kitchen, said
John Strahanoski.
John Strahanoski, his brother Len and father have a combined
50+ years in the homebuilding business. The family-owned company
has constructed quality custom homes throughout Will County
and communities such as Morris and Lockport. Currently, the
company has a model custom home at Wooded Creek in Joliet.
We were attracted to Grande Park because of its location
on the north side of Plainfield nearest to Naperville. The
communitys size and layout are also appealing, and we
were also impressed by Moser Enterprises reputation as
a developer, John Strahanoski said.
The Cavalcade will be held June 28-July 20.
